Linda Fisler models her paintings after the 19th century Impressionists, brushstroke textured and brilliantly capturing the light of land and seascapes, which she hopes conjures memories of similar venues for the viewer.  The artist developed her painting style from studying the great Impressionist masters, such as Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley, and Camille Pissaro, as well as  today's greats, Kevin Macpherson and Joe Anna Arnett. Most of Linda's works depict places she has visited. Her love for these places transforms the scene into caressing light and warmth. The detailed composition in her paintings draws you ever inward to the painting's heart.

Linda is a self taught artist, currently studying under Kevin Macpherson. Linda just recently

returned from a “paint out”, held by En Plein Air Masters,  in St. Andrews By the Sea, NB,

Canada where she painted with Master painters Kevin Macpherson, Joe Anna Arnett,

James Asher and John Budacin.   She has also studied a number of local artists including

Larry Doud, Chuck Marshall, and Christopher Brian.

Now focusing mostly on landscapes, Linda has exhibited in a number of shows and recently was

featured in a "one person" show at the Middletown Arts Center. Her DVD “Escape”,

which features her artwork set to the music of Grammy Award winning musician

Wayne Johnson (performs with Manhattan Transfer and Bette Midler) and her artwork
